چکیده

In this paper we study about optical and millimeter radio wave cross-link for formation flight communication satellite system in a geostationary orbit. In formation flight system, since the distance among the satellites becomes short compared with the conventional inter satellite communication link, the size and the weight of the communication system can be reduced. If the high data rate cross-link among the satellites which is equal to the whole transponder bandwidth can be established, the functionally distributed communications satellite system can be constructed. Then, by exchanging a part of the satellite system without the physical contact, in other words, by exchange some old satellites and new ones, the fully reconfigurable and long lifetime (from the point of the function) satellite communication system which can follow the paradigm shift in the terrestrial communications technology can be realize. On the other hand, however, since the maximum of relative angle error among two satellites is enlarged, the tracking becomes difficult. In this study, it turns the electric power which is gotten from the shortening the distance to making beam width large. Here, we examine communication among two satellites (10Km distance) where the data rate is 1Gbps.

Introducing Satellite Remote Sensing Systems and its Application in Archaeology Case Study: Behshahr Plain- Mazandaran

Human groups have considered the Behshahr plain of Mazandaran in the past Due to its particular geographical shape, location between the Caspian Sea and mountains, and the existence of some rivers in the region. However, our knowledge of this area is limited to several published surveys and archaeological investigation of its ancient sites. No detailed research has conducted on the formation of...

Automatic tuning of a behavior-based guidance algorithm for formation flight of quadrotors

This paper presents a tuned behavior-based guidance algorithm for formation flight of quadrotors. The behavior-based approach provides the basis for the simultaneous realization of different behaviors such as leader following and obstacle avoidance for a group of agents; in our case they are quadcopters. In this paper optimization techniques are utilized to tune the parameters of a behavior-bas...

HDR-VDP-2.2: a calibrated method for objective quality prediction of high-dynamic range and standard images

With the emergence of High Dynamic Range (HDR) imaging, the existing visual signal processing systems will need to deal with both HDR and standard dynamic range (SDR) signals. In such systems, computing the objective quality is an important aspect in various optimization processes (eg. video encoding). To that end, this letter presents a newly calibrated objective method that can tackle both HD...
